Meet the Coaches

Coach Natalie Stucky - Varsity Football

Coach Stucky has been a mainstay at Milton since 2000.  Now in her 35th season of coaching, she brings her love of school spirit and athleticism to Varsity Cheerleading and Varsity Gymnastics.  Coach Stucky is passionate and dedicated to the success of her team. ​

​

She is the Health and Physical Education Department Head at Milton High School.​  When not as school, a game, a meet or practice, Mrs. Stucky enjoys traveling, shopping, working out and Disney World!​

Coach Brent Paige - Varsity Coed Competition

Coach Paige is so excited to start his second year at Milton coaching the Varsity Competition team! This is his 20th year coaching, and the passion he has for the sport is the same as the day he started.  He loves having the opportunity to coach his athletes into the best they can be both on and off the mat.

 

A perfect weekend off for Coach Paige would include 18 holes with his son, watching UNC basketball and Steelers football and a trip to Fox Brothers BBQ.  He also enjoys running, claying catch with his dog Rocky, and the beach.  

Coach Lindsey Ferguson - Varsity Coed Competition

Coach Ferguson is excited about her fifth year with Milton Varsity Coed Competition team!  This is her thirteenth year coaching, and she is looking forward to the entire season.  She is dedicated and passionate for the sport and hopes her athletes can see that at all times. 

​

When Coach Ferguson is not coaching, she is at home with her two young kids.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and extended family and traveling to the beach as often as possible.  Family is everything!

Coach Bridgette Hatfield - Varsity/JV Basketball

Coach Hatfield is a third-year basketball cheer coach at Milton. She has 21 years of coaching experience with dance, cheer, and tumble. Coach Hatfield is in her 30th year as a dance adjudicator for Starpower, Nexstar, Showcase America and Star Systems. Her primary goal is to grow each athlete from the inside out and to support individuals to do their own personal best. Coach Hatfield is the business manager and Assistant AD for Milton athletics. 

 

Outside of Milton, Coach Hatfield is the founder of nonprofit, Refuse To Do Nothing, Inc, and serves as a foster mother and a short-term missionary. She enjoys gardening, book club, running, peloton, serving others and spending time with her husband, six children, and two bernedoodles.  

Coach Stacy Johnson - JV Football

Coach Johnson is excited about coaching the Milton Junior Varsity football squad. She has previously coached Milton football and basketball squads from 2003 - 2007, but took a break to start a family. She rejoined the Milton cheer program in 2015. Coach Johnson is in her 22nd year teaching mathematics at Milton High School.  She was recognized as Milton's Teacher of the Year in 2012 and a Milton Spotlight Techer in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. 

 

When Coach Johnson is not teaching or coaching she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog, going to concerts, hiking, biking, and any other outdoor activity. She loves traveling and relaxing in the mountains or on the beach. 

Coach Stephanie Blamires- Freshmen Football

Coach Blamires is returning to Milton High School Cheerleading as the Freshman Football Sideline Coach. Previously, she coached Cheer for five years at Milton. During the day, she is a Curriculum Support Teacher at Summit Hill Elementary, and previously taught 5th grade at Cogburn Woods Elementary School, where she was Teacher of the Year in 2020. One of her passions is coaching Cheer at the pivotal time when students transition from middle to high school and learn how to take on more of their own responsibilities. She was a cheerleader and gymnast in high school and loves to bring athleticism to the sport.

 

Outside of school, Coach Blamires loves to spend time with her three-year-old granddaughter. She is also passionate about writing and connecting with others through the written word, including her blog and multiple book projects. On weekends, you can find her in her backyard cottage writing or drawing!
